CONGRATULATIONS TRACY AND LAURA HICKMAN ON 25 YEARS!
For those who read the Hickman Newsletter (and shame on you if you don't!), you may have caught a blurb that Tracy and Laura Hickman are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary this June.
NEW CONTINENT NEWS
When the Nexus was formed, Tracy mentioned the idea of doing a new continent for the world of Krynn. Now that Sovereign Press is heading up the official rules, that has freed us up to work on this new continent.
More on this as material develops!
I wanted to take a moment to give a fond farewell to a good friend of mine - Mr. Tobin Melroy. Tobin has recently left the Whitestone Council, and living life to its fullest.
Tobin and I became friends when I was first putting my Whitestone Council idea together. I had called it quits one day out of frustration, and he e-mailed me saying, "What the hell are you doing?". He pointed out to me that there was indeed a need for the Council, and so I began again.
Tobin has always been a champion of the 5th Age, and has always strove to keep us grounded in the roots of Dragonlance.
UNTIL NEXT TIME
As I sit here in the Inn of the Last Home eating those infamous spiced potatoes, I take a long look at my surroundings. "This is where it all began," I tell myself. I feel a sense of awe as it finally dawns on me that the road that I have traveled has led me back to the Inn of the Last Home.
After sitting there awhile soaking up the history, I look outside and see children playing. I hear their songs and their laughter, and especially their stories about knights and wizards and dragons. I know that those stories will always be told, so long as there are people who will keep them in their hearts and believe.
So let us meet back at the Inn of the Last Home in another month. There will be more tales to be told, even as a new legend is being forged.
Long Live the Lance!
