Even though there was a pretty good-sized gap between the last newsletter and this issue doesn't mean that there hasn't been a lot going on in the world of Dragonlance! Read on for more details...

Dragonlance Gaming Update
If you weren't at the GAMA convention, or have visited either or some of the other major Dragonlance fan sites on the Internet recently, you will have missed the press release that announced that Dragonlance will once again become a published gaming setting! Sovereign Press, a company owned by Margaret Weis and her husband Don Perrin, will be publishing a Dragonlance sourcebook sometime in fall 2003 that will bring Krynn up to date and into the Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition game. Sovereign Press will also publish more modules after the initial book has been released next fall. Stay tuned to and we'll make sure to keep you up-to-date on all of the latest developments with the Dragonlance license.

Dragons of a Vanished Moon
The release date for Dragons of a Vanished moon is set for this June, with the possibility of a book tour by Weis & Hickman to follow. (No firm ship date has been set at this point in time.) Amazon currently lists the book for 30% off on pre-orders -- so if you want it shipped directly to your door as soon as it's released, you can use the link above to jump to their site to pick up your copy!

Product Ratings
Along those same lines, it appears that a number of you have been taking advantage of the ratings system that has been installed in the Products section of Now you can vote for your favorite (or least-favorite) books! You might also want to consider posting a full review of a book so that you can express your thoughts more fully about a novel. (An interesting footnote is that 180 of you have voted "Dragons of a Vanished Moon" as being a 5-star book--two months before its release!)

Fan Music Contest
The fan music description contest is now closed! Thanks to Mark Boehnlein for posting his work and allowing you to come up with descriptions that you think best suit the music. We'll be posting those in the next week or two, shortly after we announce the winner of the CD of Mark's music. Thanks to all who entered.

That's the news for now! Until next time, I bid you farewell.
