Caergoth - A druid claiming to represent the Church of Chislev, this week demanded the return of the crystal unicorn recovered from the ruins of Magius's Tower.

This past week a druid claiming to be of the Holy Order of Chislev demanded the Towers of High Sorcery return the crystal unicorn recovered from the ruins of the tower of Magius. The crystal unicorn is a magically animated construct that last week went on public display with a number of other artifacts from the ruins. The unicorn is popular for its life like personality and ability to give rides, has won the hearts of the city's children. With all the goodwill the unicorn had generated, it had even been hinted that the Towers might donate it to city.

"The Alassran Unicorn is one of the greatest religious relics of Chislev's faith," said Anthony Ramsgate, High Druid of Chislev. "It was stolen when the armies of the Dark Queen destroyed the sacred grove of Alassra during the third Dragonwar. To think the great icon is being used for pony rides, how insulting can they be? I insist it be returned to us immediately."

"That mean, ugly man wants to take Uni 'way from us," little Hannah Pitt, one of the many children who have become attached to the unicorn, told the Herald. "He called us all sortsa nasty names. Some o' which I don't e'en know what theys mean. My Ma said decent people don't talk like that and the Knights shoulda wash his mouth out with soap, lotsa soap."

"Yes we had to speak with the druid about his manners," said Brad Vale of the Caergoth Militia. "His aggravated ranting was scaring both the parents and the kids, we couldn't have that no matter what thinks he owns. If this man is a follower of Chislev, he did his brethren and his cause no favours behaving like a cretin."

"We are investigating this druid's claims," said Kandyse Eldar, the white robe wizard responsible for finding the ruins of Magius's tower "What little evidence we have, does verify that there once was a grove of Alassra not too far from the Throtl Gap, but we have as yet found anything that says the unicorn originally came from there."

Adventure Hooks

The Wizards of High Sorcery are hiring, they want someone to go the Grove of Alassra and investigate the veracity of Ramsgate's claim.
