Tarsis - This past Kirinor a gnomish toymaker, Bernard of Icereach was almost lynched by the parents of Tarsis.

The gnome was in the Great Plaza, handing out toys from a large red sack to the children of the city. The parents of these kids grew alarmed when they found out where the toys came from and confronted him.

"Everybody knows how dangerous gnomes and their gizmo's are," said Connie Bennett a mother of two. "We were worried that our kids were going to get their fingers chopped of, eyes poked out or some other kind of horrific injury."

The situation got out of hand fast though, when the gnome refused to talk to anyone but the children.

"I am ashamed to say that some of our citizens, treated this visitor to our city like a convicted criminal," said Marcus Aurace of the Tarsis City Watch. "These enraged parents began by hurling abuse, then moved on too hurling fruit and worse. When an off duty Knight, from the crowd pulled out a noose, something amazing happened. Every single one of the children in the plaza moved to surround the toymaker, forming a protective wall between the ravenous mob and their target. The mob halted, stunned. The mysterious gnome stood and smiled at the kids then placed his finger aside his nose and vanished in a burst of sparkles."

Nobody has seen Bernard of Icereach since, although he promised the children he would return.

"Bernard promised us he would come back sometime soon," said little Lizzie Bennett. "And bring us more toys. He also said he would bring his boss next time."

Tarsis dark knight officials, after interviewing all the children have composed a description of this boss and is actively on the alert for him and his gnome assistant Bernard. He is described as a jolly old man with snowy white beard, who wears a red suit and drives a sleigh.
