Daltigoth – A rather odd kender has been stirring up the residents of Daltigoth, claiming a "great catastrophe" is about to befall the city.

The kender, who calls herself, Bristlehex Sojourner, claims to be a follower of a forgotten goddess, named Jiathuli. According to sources within the Imperial Senate, Sojourner has disrupted several meetings of the Senate with her claims of gloom and doom. She escaped capture by hurling bolts of supernatural origin.

Sojourner delievered a statement to the Times via a four-eyed raven. It read, "A time of great strife is descending on Daltigoth. The magehome is the center of the disturbance. The land will be scoured in magical fire. None shall survive the blast, save those who accept the generosity of the Great Jiathuli and accompany me through the Green Gate."

Sojourner is said to be odd looking for a kender in that she dresses in red and black spiked leather armor, has coal black eyes, small horns, and smells faintly of sulphur. She was last spotted harassing passersby in Temple Square.

Clerics of the Temple of Bran, the Bard King have declared the kender to be an agent of evil, and have recommended the Imperial Guard to arrest her on sight. Livius Fabius, Mastersinger of Bran offered these words, "This wicked kender cannot be allowed to spread lies, and inflame the populace. She reeks of foul magic and should not be trusted. I know this 'goddess' of which she speaks. Jiathuli is no goddess, but a demon spawned of the Abyss confined for eternity for daring to usurp the power of the gods."

Though the Emperor has not taken any of Sojourner's words seriously, he has instructed the Imperial Guard to arrest the kender. Rumor has it he is considering action against the Tower of High Sorcery.
