Wizard's Abode Raided, Suspect Slain.

Palanthas - Acting on an anonymous tip, Knights of Solamnia raided the shop of Kelsron Jhelaun on Palast finding room upon room of witchcraft and wizard paraphernalia.
Accompanied by a visiting Knight of the Divine Hammer, the raiding party smashed down the door and quickly discovered a hidden stair case leading to a basement.
According to the official layout of the store registered at the Civil Engineering Guild, there is clearly no cellar beneath the store.
"It didn't take long for us to find the entrance to the cellar," said Sir Shaun Brandon Knight of the Rose, the ranking officer. "We proceeded down with caution discovering the illegal library and laboratory of a wizard. We found Jhelaun there preparing to cast an enchantment. I ordered him to surrender to our authority, promising him a fair trial, but he just smiled one of his melancholy smiles."
When Sir Brandon hesitated in continuing to relate the events of the encounter, Sir Aarorn Coonus of Istar took up the story. "The sorcerous wretch said that fair trials for the likes of him had gone the way of the dragon, saying he would be gone in moments. When he began his vile enchantment, speaking the words of the damned, wiggling his fingers like a demented child, I knew I had to act. I threw my warhammer right at the cretin's face."
According to the gather knights, the blow of the knight's hammer disrupted the wizard spell with catastrophic consequences; an explosion ensued destroying the building and wizard. The knights barely escaped the building before it collapsed, though several were wounded.
"Jhelaun was a law abiding citizen of Palanthas and a good man who deserved the right of a fair trial," said Sir Brandon.
The leadership of the Knight's Circle of Palanthas apparently agrees with Sir Brandon's assessment as it has requested the High Clerist to go Istar and to voice their concerns to the Kingpriest in person. Sir Brandon has retreated to the sanctuary of a remote monastery of Paladine to prey for guidance, the Times wishes him well in his quest.
Sir Coonus is assured that his actions were the right ones, saying "I did what the fool Solamnics had no stomach for. The wizard is supping in the Abyss with the rest of his black hearted brethren - as the Lightbringer has decreed their fate to be."
Jhelaun's Curios has long been known for the oddities and trinkets it's owner imported from all parts of Krynn. As an importer of exotic goods, Jhelaun has always been under close scrutiny, but the revelation of the truth of Jhelaun's depravity has led many to question the effectiveness of Palanthian customs agents.
