Palanthas - After almost seven months of construction and preparation, the Lost Wrights Company has announced that the new theatre, named Manik's Manor in honor of the lead character of the extremely popular play "Manik the Mage", is finally ready for its first premiere.

Firona Ergot, spokeswoman for the Lost Wrights Company made the announcement on Bakukal. "We're extremely pleased that we're finally able to entertain the Palanthians in beautiful surroundings," Ergot said. "'Manik the Mage' will be the first play we'll feature in this theatre and we're very excited about it. Director Furios QiSarn has put together an excellent cast and the rehearsals have gone very well."

"Manik the Mage" is an old play written by the legendary playwright Polus Everblack shortly before the Cataclysm. It is about a mage who must choose between his love for an Ergothian princess and his passion for the arcane. According to Firona Ergot, the Lost Wrights Company aims to be true to the original manuscripts which were only recently uncovered in Tarsis, Everblack's home city.

"Most versions of 'Manik the Mage' have been altered somewhat by various writers to suit the trends of the time. While these altered plays have been very popular, we find the original manuscripts to be much more powerful and simply wonderful storytelling. Everblack is without a doubt one of the greatest playwrights Ansalon has ever seen, second only to Eldaho himself, and we want the audience to see the play as he intended it."
