Flowers Spontaneously Bloom Across City

Palanthas – Citizens of Palanthas awoke last Palast to discover what many are considering a miracle. Flowers have bloomed across the city, many in places where no flowers existed before.

Flower beds bloomed with flowers out of season, as many flowering vines have been seen on buildings across the city. An explanation has yet to be determined, though some are calling it an act of the gods.

"Blessed be the Green Mother," Aloria Handel, cleric of Chislev, said. "She has given the city of Palanthas the gift of her touch."

The Lord Regent has issued orders for the City Guard to assist in the cleaning process, effective immediately.

"This is going to be a mess to clean up," City Guard official Dalfin Reven said. "It's bad enough that the City Guard is busy bringing in the bad guys. Now we've got to work as janitors and help clean the streets. If this is an act of the gods, then who needs them?"

Assisting the City Guard is a kender, recently charged with theft and serving community service.

"Aren't they beautiful?" Hakan Flowerhair said. "The poor goddess, dropping all her flowers... Now we can help by picking them up and returning to her. Now she won't be so sad!"

City Guard official Dalfin Reven requested a transfer shortly afterwards, but was denied.
