Unknown Culprit Vandalizes Sites throughout Palanthas
by Sephzero, Staff Writer
Palanthas - In the last few days an unknown vandal has continued to defame city property with strange messages. Originally excused as simple acts of vandalism, the amount of sites struck over the past days has escalated to over three dozen.
Messages left by the vandal's work have been confusing and no cohesive meaning has been determined from them yet. The Herald has managed to collect a number of the messages presented below:
"That which sleeps falls to the city of shadow."
Given the sheer amount and distance between a numbers of the sites, the City Guuard had initially presumed that it was the work of a group of deviants out to stir trouble. It was only through identification of similar substances used to write the message and hand style that led the City Guard to concluded a single culprit was involved.
"The specific style used to write the messages along with the similarity of the substance used in the making of the message suggest that we are looking at a single culprit involved with the act of vandalism on the city. We are still uncertain how this individual has managed to move about without detection to perform his act, but the individual will be stopped." Brent Grawfellow, Captain of the City Guard, stated.
The City Guard has no leads or witnesses at present despite the numbers of sites struck so far by the vandal. Sites struck include the Great Library of Palanthas, the Lord's Palace, Chiselcut's workshop, and the Old City Wall.
