Citizens of Ak-Khurman Cursed by Dead Wizard

Ak-Khurman - On Majetag, the citizens of Ak-Khurman woke up to the sound of thousands of screams and a blood-red sky followed by a vicious swarm of deathshard locusts. According to city officials, the screams came from nowhere and had no source nor can the authorities account for the blood-red sky and the swarm of dangerous insects.

Local folklore claims that the disturbance of the grave of Siitin Ak-Jibarr, a man who dabbled in black magic and who committed unspeakable crimes, will bestow a horrible curse upon the land and it is widely believed that this is what has happened. If that is the case, then the screaming and the blood-red sky is merely an omen of things to come.

According to the same sources, the khan of Ak-Khurman summoned several adventuring parties to his palace in the hopes of convincing them to find the grave of Ak-Jibarr and verify that it has been disturbed and, if so, to do whatever it takes to put a stop to the curse before the killing starts.

In the meantime preparations have been made to ensure that the citizens of Ak-Khurman can be evacuated if the curse of the Dragon-blooded (as Ak-Jibarr was called) becomes reality.
