Hawkstones Move In On Kalaman
by Gerrin, Staff Writer
Kalaman - The Hawkstones, the group that recently plagued Palanthas with criminal activity, was spotted near Kalaman according to several witnesses. This group is considered extremely dangerous and several towns have issued warnings of the group.
"Anyone traveling around the Kalaman area should be on alert," local Constable Malis Irontree said. "If you come into contact with this group please do not try to provoke them into battle. Already we have had several reports of robberies in this area that are being accredited to them. The rule of thumb right now is that if you don't need to travel then just stay home."
The group so far has committed several robberies and is accused of murdering livestock in the area. So far none of the victims have been able to provide permanent details about the attacks instead they have provided sketchy reports. Many of the victims have claimed that the figures attacking them appeared short and almost childlike.
"I don't know for sure but this doesn't sound like the Hawkstones that hassled us here," Sergeant Ulric Liton of the City Guard said. "This group sounds like a copy cat. The attacks are too randomized and bare little resemble to the group that was here. They seem only distantly similar."
Whether the robberies at Kalaman and Palanthas have anything in common remains to be seen. The authorities are trying to do the best to contain the matter in the area and are urging travelers to seek shelter at night and not to camp alone.
