The Delatorre Collection to Be Displayed at the University of Palanthas
by Nael, Staff Writer
Palanthas - Next week sees the first attempt by the University alumni to increase public awareness and enthusiasm for the declining institution. Argonne Delatorre of Solanthus has offered up his late ancestor's collection of early elven and goblin artifacts. Among the artifacts on display is a so-called starjewel, which is reportedly a traditional gift between elven lovers. Also included are many of the late Delatorre's spell books as well as a large collection of weapons and armor more than 3000 years old.
Security is taken seriously as there has already been one attempted break-in and many threatening letters concerning the display. Lord Marshal Keene Di Qisath, commander of the City Guard had this to say about it "Everything is being done to ensure the security of the collection, and these rumors of a curse are naught but hogwash and kender tales! The artifacts on display have an amazing historical value and importance and so I've posted a contingent of guardsmen as guards for the duration of the exhibition."
The exhibition will be open to the public and it will last until the fifteenth day of Brookgreen. Admittance will cost 3 silver pieces.
