Arena Battle Good for the Heart
by Trampas Whiteman, Staff Writer
NETHOSAK – Health officials tied to Emperor Faros es-Kalin have released a report today with findings that battle in the Games is good for the heart.
"We have found that exercising in the Games, training for battle, and facing off against fearsome creatures increases the blood flow," Durak es-Gralik said. "Minotaurs who don't fight in the games have a greater chance for heart failure. Those who fight in the Games tend to die as a minotaur should – in battle."
"It's just spin from the Emperor," Murtok de-Kralish said. "Of course there's less heart failure. They're dying in the Games and not living to a ripe old age!" The Herald staff tried following up on de-Kralish's comments, but he was unavailable for comment.
Despite this singular voice of dissidence, the findings of the report are conclusive. Not only are there less heart attacks, there are added benefits as well. Strength and speed both improve, as well as awareness of one's surroundings.
