Palanthas - After last week's breakdown and with warnings from the temple of Shinare, trade talks continued under a more peaceful backdrop this week.

"Thisss isss progresss," Teyr Trading Company representative Krith said. "For the firssst time, I think they actually lissstened. The presssence of the temple of Ssshinare has been mossst helpful in giving usss a fair chance. We couldn't have done it without them."

"According to the guild charter," Shinare cleric Barish Demal said, "any new entrants into the guild should try to provide something different from other businesses in Palanthas. I would say the draconians succeeded."

At the guild meeting, the Teyr Trading Company presented several items of draconian make, which evoked much surprise from many guild members. Among the items presented was pottery covered in draconian scales of various metallic colors.

"I have to say that I'm shocked," an anonymous guild member said. "I had no idea that draconians were capable of...of that! The pottery may have looked good in the light, but that's just old draconian scales that fell off. It would be like us selling our fingernails as art!"

Deliberations will conclude next week.
