Hourglass Mage Dispute Updates

(3/3/2008) There have been some developments in the dispute between Wizards of the Coast and Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman over Dragons of an Hourglass Mage. Mike Lescault, the community liaison from WotC, has posted a response. Tracy Hickman, in turn, has responded to Lescault. You can read more about it here.

Dark Chronicles!

(5/19/2005) The Big Secret is finally revealed in a new Weis and Hickman Dragonlance trilogy which expands upon the story first told in the Chronicles trilogy. The latest issue of the Hickman Newsletter has announced what the Big Secret is - a new trilogy of Dragonlance books by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman set during the time of the Chronicles trilogy. Margaret Weis Nationwide Book Tour

(3/26/2004) Margaret Weis will be doing a nation-wide book tour, sponsored by TOR Books and Wizards of the Coast during the first part of September 2004. The organizers are still putting the tour together, so there's no final schedule yet... But Margaret asked us to post an open letter that asks "if you are a book store owner or manager or if you know of a book store that would like to have me come for an autograph/talk session during this time, would you please have someone from the store get in touch with me?" If you're interested and you fit the description, please read her letter for further details. For the rest of us—we'll just have to wait until September to catch her on tour!

Larry Elmore To Teach Fantasy Art Workshop This Fall

(3/10/2004) World-renowned fantasy artist Larry Elmore is pleased to announce the "Fantasy Art Workshop," a study of drawing and painting fantasy art. The workshop will be held October 4-8, 2004 in Brandenburg, Kentucky. The workshop costs $399 plus you will need to bring a few art supplies.
