March 10, 2004 (Brandenburg, Kentucky) - World-renowned fantasy artist Larry Elmore is pleased to announce the "Fantasy Art Workshop," a study of drawing and painting fantasy art. The workshop will be held October 4-8, 2004 in Brandenburg, Kentucky. The workshop's cost of $399 plus you will need to bring a few art supplies.

Larry offers a relaxed approach to teaching, with emphasis on individual attention as much as possible. This limits the maximum size of the class to 14 students (with 4 alternates).

The workshop will cover several areas including: 'Perspective,' 'Drawing the Human Figure,' 'Basic Painting Techniques,' as well as other topics such as 'Marketing Your Artwork' and 'Breaking into the Fantasy Art Market.'

Larry will be holding his workshop at Doe Run Inn (www.doeruninn.com). Not far from Louisville Kentucky, the Inn offers an old-fashioned atmosphere where students can relax and focus on creating great artwork. You are welcome to stay at any of the local hotels in Brandenburg, but Larry has secured a special deal at DOE RUN INN; the cost will be an additional $399 but includes room, meals, and transportation to and from the Louisville airport.

The 14 students will be chosen based on portfolio submissions. Potential students will need to send a maximum of 8 color pages (8 1/2"x 11") and a one-page letter stating who the candidates are and why they should be chosen for the workshop. NO PORTFOLIO WILL BE RETURNED.

If you are interested in attending the Larry Elmore Art Workshop you will need to send your portfolio to:

Elmore Productions
