Suluk was one of the largest kingdoms of the Rainward Isles, and was both a beautiful city, as well as a nominal city-state ruled by the King of Suluk. The buildings of Suluk were made of dark grey stone, and depicted ships and images of the Aurim Empire. The main boulevard of the city had statues of famous mariners and warriors of the Isles, and a lush garden also filled out the area. The towers of the Sevenspires loomed above the city, with the palace sitting at the highest part of all of Suluk.
Suluk was the southernmost kingdom of the Isles, and the logical point at which Maladar an-Desh would send his army to conquer the Rainward Isles. So it was in 425 AC, when his Hobgoblin army was sent to ravage Suluk. During the fighting a massive magical blast by Maladar erupted eastwards across the kingdom of Suluk and destroyed the city. A number of the Rainward Kings were killed in the blast, and the kingdom of Suluk was no more.
