The Istar Province was the main homeland province of the Holy Empire of Istar. It was bordered by Midrath to the east, Ismin to the south, Gather to the west, and the Courrain Ocean to the north. Istar Province was mainly a plainsland country that produced most of the Empire's foodstuffs. Most of the history surrounding the province follows that of the Empire. It was originally a city-state, then a kingdom, before becoming part of the Empire in 727 PC. The province was destroyed when the Fiery Mountain smashed into the city of Istar during the Cataclysm.
