Plague Warrens

Article written by Gerrin

The Plague Warrens were the chambers and tunnels that were used to quarantine the first mold plague victims of the Zhakar. These chambers were filled with food and water and were not meant to separate the victims but to prevent the spread of the disease. Many of the plague victims lived in these caverns for years and became insane. These victims died from the fast growing fungus, but their minds were absorbed by the fungus, creating the fungifolk.
