Ash is an elderly man with a greay beard and hair. He wears half-moon glasses as he has difficulty focusing on objects close up. He is prone to mutter to himself and alwasy seems to be staring off into the distance.
Ash is the son of a carpenter. He had no interest in carpentry however, and so became a self taught scholar.
