Background:

As a young woman in Qualinost, Grenden was accused of a crime she didn't commit. Although eventually pronounced innocent of her crime, Grenden was still regarded with suspicion by many. Life in Qualinost became intolerable. Grenden left, never to return.

Since then, Grenden has led the life of a nomad. She keeps others at arm's length and tends to see conspiracy where none exists. Sullen, distant, and moody, a smile on Grenden's face is as rare as a rose blossom in winter.

Grenden relishes battle, the bloodier the better. Grenden rarely shows mercy to her enemies, including those she only assumes to be enemies.

Grenden eventually married her companion, Tarr Ravenseye. While his flirtations annoyed her at first, she soon grew to love him. Dark Pilgrims of Takhisis tried to disrupt the wedding ceremony in an act of revenge for deeds by Grenden and her companions in an adventure. Though the couple was thought dead, rumors of a pair of individuals matching her and Tarr's description have emerged.

Designer Notes:

This is an alternate take on Grenden using the Duskblade class from Player's Handbook II.
