Tanin is a tall robust warrior with a grim face and keen green eyes, inheriting his mother's curly red hair.
The oldest of eight children born to Tika and Caramon Majere. 4 younger brothers Sturm, Palin, Leaf and Kalin and three younger sisters Dezra, Laura, Melody. (from tales of the lance!) He travelled with Palin, Sturm and Dougan Redhammer (Reorx) to the Isle of Gargath and encountered the Greygem. He is a clever, strong warrior and has recently achieved his ambition of joining the knights of Solamania. He will ultimately fall in one of the first battles of the Summer of Chaos against the Dark Knights and his body along with Sturm, will be taken back to Solace by Palin Majere and Steel Brightblade Uth Matar.
He takes pride in his family and will fight to protect his family and its honour. He tries to be serious and practical but often ends up wrestling his brother Sturm. He is quick tempered like his mother, but forgives and forgets. He has a passion for women, games and longs for grand adventure.
