Appearance

Denton has a clean shaven head and wears a black goatee. He is dark skinned and handsome. As required by his station as Ambassador, he wears the finest of clothes, but would much prefer more utilitarian garb. A small silver hoop earring is worn on his left ear.

Personality

Born of humble origins Denton has a penchant for playing the "everyman", able to relate to the down trodden poor as well as the richest of nobles. He can be fierce in debate, sharp in wit, and certain in his convictions, but those close to him know that he has a fun loving easy going side as well.

Background

Denton's parent worked as servants in the house of a High Priest of Shinare (Delethon the Fair) in the city of Gwynned. When they were both killed by assassins sent as a warning to the High Priest by a a cultist of Hiddukel, he became the adopted son of the priest.

The priest saw to it that he got an education and when it came time for him to learn a trade, the priest arranged for Denton to accompany a diplomatic mission to Hylo to apprentice as a diplomat. While in Hylo, serving under the protocol minded Ambassador Garwain, Denton made a name for himself, saving the negotiations, after the Ambassador accused, the Supreme Oligarch of the Day of Hylo, of being a thief.

Denton then served, for a time as a junior ambassador in the Ergothian mission to the elves in Southern Ergoth. Shortly after his arrival, word came that the Diplomatic Corp of Ergoth, had decided to send an ambassador to Khuri-Khan. Speculation and rumors ran rampant throughout the corps as people vied for the privilege of being the first ambassador to the Khurish regions. Through the planning and patronage of High Priest Delethon, Denton got the appointment. He has only been in Khuri-Khan a week and is searching for a base to house the embassy.
