Snowflake is a young woman of 16 winters with slightly dark skin. Unlike the other Icefolk, she has blue eyes and white hair, the product of falling into the Pool of the White Eye. She sometimes looks into the distance as if her thoughts are elsewhere, especially during nights when Solinari is in high sanction.

Snowflake is friendly and approachable, acting as a mother-figure to small children in her native village. Elsewhere, she finds that small children (and kender!) are drawn to her as well. She has developed some skill crafting puppets and putting on impromptu shows for children.

As a young child, Snowflake was gravely ill. Her parents traveled to an ancient temple dedicated to gods long-gone, and prayed for an answer. As the parents prayed, the young girl wandered off. Realizing what had happened, her parents rushed to her scream as she fell into an ice-cold pool of white water. When Snowflake emerged, her eyes had turned ice-blue and her hair was white. Snowflake was healed, and her parents took this to be a sign from the gods.

Snowflake was taught the ways of the winternorns, an ancient arcane tradition of her people. In the prior age of man, winternorns from her tribe had used the magic of White Eye to fuel their spells. Now they've adapted their methods to newly discovered magic of the world, for which Snowflake had an innate talent.

When the White Eye returned, her tribe celebrated, many returning to the old ways. Snowflake, though, did not feel the same urge. She felt the pull of the white moon, yet the ancient arcane writings proved to be indecipherable. With increased pressure coming from her tribe, Snowflake has decided to leave and discover who she is on her own.

Now Snowflake travels the world, searching for who she truly is. She has recently come to the attention of Ramiel, a White Robe renegade hunter. Ramiel is observing Snowflake, supposedly to determine if she is a threat to be neutralized. Ramiel has other motives in mind, which include protecting the young girl. What those motives are remain to be seen.

In Your Campaign:

Snowflake can be encountered in any area in Icereach, or in the realm of Gellidus shortly after the War of Souls. She can be the focus of an adventure, where the players protect her from Ramiel and, in turn, try to discover his real motives.
