Description:

Shara has become an expert at camouflage and always wears the colors of the woods. Her long, silky white hair is always braided and done up so as to not get caught in any branches. Shara's golden hazel eyes have a softness to them, although her constant alertness is not lost in that serenity. Shara has a tattoo of the Blue Phoenix on her cheek.

Background:

Shara lost her entire tribe to an attack by Frost early after the Dragon Purge ended. The last of the Blue Lake tribe, she took up the position of protector of what is left of her homeland. She now roams the forest on the western slopes of the Last Gaard Mountains. Her only companion is her cooshee, Larasa. The two have been together since they were children and were out hunting together when Frost attacked her village. Shara is also practicing to become a shaman and is working on improving her sensitivity to the world around her, so that she might one day help revive it to its former state. She gave herself the tattoo on her cheek, believing the new moon to be a symbol of the combination of the energies of the missing gods.

The War of Souls and subsequent return of the gods brought doubt to Shara. She had thought the One Moon to be a gift of the gods, yet it had been the pale eye of the Queen of Darkness herself. Ashamed, Shara underwent a spirit quest to try to find her place in the world.

In her vision, she saw a frozen lake formed in the shape of a white dragon. As she looked upon the visage, a blue light shone through the surface. Emerging from the lake was a blue phoenix. The form of the white dragon was gone, replaced by the Blue Lake her tribe was named after and the surrounding green glade. Shara knew in her heart that she looked upon Habbakuk.

"Child, do not blame yourself for not knowing the truth. The Queen of Darkness fooled us all," the Blue Phoenix said. "You have shown great loyalty to the true gods, for which you shall be rewarded – though it may come with sacrifice. Would you follow me?"

For the first time since the War of Souls, Shara had found purpose. She nodded once, a tear of joy streaming down her face. When the tear reached the One Moon upon Shara's face, she felt a burning. The tattoo of the moon burned with blue flame, searing both flesh and soul. When Shara next looked upon her reflection, she saw that the One Moon had been replaced by the symbol of Habbakuk, the Blue Phoenix.

Shara continues to work towards the downfall of Gellidus, and seeks to purify the Blue Lake from the overlord's presence. She works to aid elven refugees whenever possible, and seeks to rebuild her tribe.
