Description:

Guerrand (Rand) is a well build young man of minor noble birth, with red brown hair and dark eyes. He is rather kindly, and scholarly, unlike most of his family he is not a warrior born.

Personality:

Guerrand is a kind individual; he is rather introspective, and shy. He does not agree with his older brother on many topics, especially any topic concerning Guerrand marrying for the benefit of his family's fortune.

Background:

Guerrand was forced to train as a Chevalier, as he is of the nobility, hence he is familiar with the weapons and armor of his class, but he was rather inept at many of the social and martial graces, preferring to study and read what he could in his families library. It was here that he discovered some old forgotten spell books either acquired by an ancestor during campaigning or compiled by a dabbler. Guerrand desperately wishes to continue studying magic, which his older brother has expressly forbidden him to do. Guerrand has a Familiar Zagaros, a grey breasted Ergothian gull, who has a very high opinion of itself and feels that Guerrand is stagnating and should stand up for him self.
