Pran is a small, sad-looking kender that wears drab clothes.
Pran was captured by bounty hunters hoping to get some gold by turning him over to the clerics of Istar. Pran used his taunt ability one time too many, and the bounty hunter cut out his tongue.
Since that time, Pran's outlook on life has changed. He has learned Silent Speak, a form of sign language, to compensate for the loss of his tongue. He has been through the Cataclysm, and now seeks to survive in world that doesn't want him.
In Your Campaign:
Pran is usable in campaigns centered around the Cataclysm. He can function in any manner a scout or rogue does, but he will not act like a typical kender handler. He brings a sense of sadness and seriousness to the game, and makes for a good NPC for the DM.
