Caelus was the son of Vargus, a trader for the Minotaur League of Taladas. On one trip, Vargus was slain and Caelus was raised by the Black Peak ogre tribe. After Klank had grown to maturity, he worked with a group of minotaurs for awhile, but left them when they chose to work for a medusa. Not long after, he was captured by League and forced to fight as an arena comatant, becoming the gladiator "Klank - the minotaur raised by ogres". Caelus soon met Karathos and Thakadil (a minotaur from Kothas). Thakadil taught the Ansalonian minotaur dialect to both Karathos and Klank. Soon, the three escaped the League. The three stole a small ship, and headed for Ansalon. The boat crashed off of Mithas after a terrible storm, and the three separated. Klank has heard some rumors of a minotaur that fits the description of Karathos, and hopes to track him down. There has been no word on Thakadil, who Klank presumes to be dead. Klank serves aboard a ship called the Constitution. He has recently moved up to the rank of First Mate. References1.
