D&D 3e (3.0/3.5) Rules
by Paul Record
You reach out to the void and utter a single, blasphemous word that can instantly snuff out the life force of any living creature.
An opponent slain by this spell vanishes, leaving only her clothing and possessions. All memory of her similarly vanishes from the minds of those who knew of or met her, even the caster of the spell, as if she had never existed.
Physical examples of her existence remain. For example, a diary or journal would not vanish or be erased but left out of context.
A creature that makes a successful Fortitude save is partially affected, taking 1d8 points of Charisma damage. If the target's Charisma drops to zero, she vanishes from existence.
She may not be raised, resurrected or otherwise restored, even with a wish or miracle.
XP Cost: The XP cost for casting oblivion is 7500 XP.
