Champion of the Six Holy Blessings
D&D 3e (3.0/3.5) Rules
The Gods of Light believe that certain ideals of good are great blessings to the mortals of Krynn. In order to protect and spread these blessings, the Gods of Good have created an order known as the Champions of the Six Holy Blessings. Paladine believes that through Glory, the whole of Krynn can be bathed in Light. Mishakal revels in the process of Purification. The Blue Phoenix, Habbakuk, embodies the ideal of Renewal. Majere believes that through Dream and imagination, mortals can be moved to goodness. Branchala believes that Pleasure is the best enticement and strongest foundation for good.
Most Champions of the Six Holy Blessings hail from the clerics of each respective deity. On occasion, mystics, paladins, good rangers and druids, and Goodfellows embrace the ideals of their god and choose the path of a Champion of the Six Holy Blessings. Knights of the Sword often choose the path of a Champion of the Six Holy Blessings, focusing their time on promoting courage.
A Champion of the Six Holy Blessings takes the name of the bonus domain he earns. For example, a Champion of the Six Holy Blessings of Paladine will take the name Champion of Glory.
Alignment: Must match alignment of patron deity exactly.
The Champion of the Six Holy Blessings' class skills are Concentration (Con), Diplomacy (Cha), Knowledge (arcana, religion, the planes) (Int), and Spellcraft (Int). A Champion of the Six Holy Blessings also gains one bonus class skill dependent on her patron deity (see chart below).
Skill Points at Each Level: 4 + Int modifier.
All of the following are class features of the Champion of the Six Holy Blessings prestige class.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Champion of the Six Holy Blessings gains no proficiency with any weapon, armor or shield.
Bonus Domain: A Champion of the Six Holy Blessings gains a bonus domain appropriate to her patron deity starting at first level (see chart below).
Bonus Feat: At 2nd level, a Champion of the Six Holy Blessings gains a bonus feat based on her patron deity (see chart below).
Turn Undead (Su): At 3rd level, a Champion of the Six Holy Blessings can turn undead as a cleric of her class level minus two. If she possess the turn undead ability from another class, she may add her Champion of the Six Holy Blessings level minus two to her effective cleric level.
Blessed Charisma (Su): At 4th level, a Champion of the Six Holy Blessings receives a +2 sacred bonus on all Charisma-based checks involving creatures or persons of good alignment. If the person/creature has class levels in a divine spellcasting class, or has the outsider type and is of good alignment, the bonus increases to +4.
Bonus Domain Slot: At 5th level, a Champion of the Six Holy Blessings may memorize an extra domain spell of each spell level per day. If the Champion of the Six Holy Blessings has levels in cleric, this means that she may now have two domain spell slots per spell level. If she is not a cleric, then she gains a domain spell slot, which she can use to prepare or cast a spell of her domain. If a character has more than one domain, she may choose to use the extra domain slot for any of her domain spells.
