Heartcleaver and BonebiterD&D 3e (3.0/3.5) Rulesby Trampas WhitemanThe minotaur warrior Karathos has a unique fighting style. In combat, he wields two double-bladed battleaxes to devastating effect. His axes, combined with his size and expertise, make him a deadly foe. Heartcleaver is a +2 Mighty Cleaving double-bladed battleaxe. Heartcleaver is a family weapon, being passed from generation to generation. Bonebiter is a +1 double-bladed battleaxe that produces daylight upon verbal command. Brightness is determined by mental command. Another verbal command eliminates the light. Bonebiter also has the special ability to stay in place when released in midair. A small inscription says that Bonebiter was forged in Pax Tharkas by the dwarven smith Foster Stronghand. Karathos found this axe on his quest to find Flint's Axe.
