D&D 3e (3.0/3.5) Rules
Draco Paladins are the champions of the god Paladine, the Platinum Dragon. While Draco Paladins follow the same path as any other paladin, they are charged with fighting the forces of the Queen of Darkness, and specifically chromatic dragons.
All Draco Paladins carry a Medallion of Faith, which has the insignia of the Platinum Dragon holding up two crossed Dragonlances.
Hit Die: d10
The Draco Paladin's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Handle Animal (Cha), Heal (Wis), Knowledge (Dragon Lore) (Int), Knowledge (Religion) (Int), Profession (Wis), and Ride (Dex).
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Draco Paladins are proficient with all simple and martial weapons, with all types of armor (heavy, medium, and light), and with shields.
Favored Dragon Enemy: At first level and every odd-numbered level beyond, the Draco Paladin chooses a chromatic dragon type as his Favored Dragon Enemy. This is per the Ranger's Favored Enemy ability on p. 45 of the Player's Handbook, save that Draco Paladins must select one type of chromatic dragon. At every odd level, he must choose another color of chromatic dragon.
Damage Bonus: A Draco Paladin that makes a successful attack roll against a chromatic dragon, he receives a damage bonus equal to his level. Thus, a 4th-level Draco Paladin receives a +4 bonus to damage. This ability is gained at 2nd level.
Dragonfear Immunity: At 4th level, Draco Paladins become immune to the effects of Dragonfear (Frightful Presence). This ability works as per a paladin's Aura of Courage ability, save that it only applies to Dragonfear.
Breath Weapon Defense: At 6th level, a Draco Paladin has learned how to avoid the effects of a dragon's breath weapon, to where he takes less damage. A Draco Paladin must make a Reflex save per usual against a dragon's breath weapon attack. However, success means that the Draco Paladin takes no damage, and failure means that he takes only half damage.
Turn Draconians: At 8th level, the Draco Paladin can Turn Draconians, as per a Cleric's Turn Undead ability. See p. 139-140 of the Player's Handbook for details. If the Draco Paladin is multi-classed as a paladin or cleric, those class levels are added to the Draco Paladin's class level for determining how many HD of dracionains can be turned.
Dragon Mount: At 10th level, the Draco Paladin gains a young metallic dragon as a mount. If the Draco Paladin is already a paladin with a special mount, then that mount is transformed into a young metallic dragon (typically a silver).
